Well, when I installed it, I rebooted, selected vista from dual-boot screen, I have XP aswell And then it goes to Vista boot screen, it takes like 3 hours for the user-login screen to load!!! Then when I get to the user-login, It auto chooses my username - temur - then It sais '' loading your personal settings.

No wonder Vista was late AND lame...
... even XP doesn't encrypt stuff as it passes across the system board just in case I try to copy it) From what I've seen of Vista RTM, this is only true if you use WiMP. Don't play by their rules, man. Fight the power@#$!# ...Sorry. Bingo. WiMP plays my MP3s just fine (LAME encoded) and that is all that I require.

I think it's just saying how complex writing and changing an OS - I don't think it's really malcontent. I don't think it's a reason to "knock" Vista, although I agree that the shutdown choices are confusing.
